Kevin Edmundson spent the majority of his career with the Securities and Exchange Commission’s Enforcement Division in Washington, DC, and Fort Worth, Texas. He joined the SEC in 1995 as a staff attorney in Washington, DC, and later served the Commission’s Fort Worth Regional Office as Assistant Director and Chief/Senior Trial Counsel. Throughout his career at the SEC, Kevin investigated and litigated a wide range of securities matters, including cases alleging offering fraud, Ponzi schemes, investment adviser and broker/dealer fraud, insider trading, market manipulation, market timing and fraudulent accounting practices. Most notably, Kevin led the enforcement team that exposed and stopped Allen Stanford’s $8 billion criminal Ponzi scheme. Kevin has also served as a Special Assistant U.S. Attorney (Dallas) for securities matters and participated in the Securities Fraud Task Force of Texas.

Kevin also has worked for two national law firms. His practice substantially focused on representing corporate officers in civil and criminal investigations and prosecutions. He graduated from the Catholic University School of Law in 1990, where he was a member of the Catholic University Law Review.

Kevin’s areas of expertise include government investigations, securities litigation, and business disputes, and Kevin also regularly serves as an expert in private and SEC securities litigation matters.
